Charlevoix Area Guide

We are thrilled with the success of our combined annual Charlevoix Guide. This all-inclusive magazine showcases the combined efforts of the Charlevoix Area Chamber of Commerce and Visit Charlevoix, resulting in a piece for our community members, visitors, future residents, and businesses. We are excited about the magazine's success and the continued collaboration.

The 2024 Charlevoix Guide will again showcase Charlevoix's desirable quality of life, year-round visitor amenities, as well as outstanding opportunities for future residents and business owners. As a joint publication, we provide increased distribution, decreased cost for those who previously advertised in both publications, decreased publication costs for both organizations resulting in better advertising rates, and increased communication among community members. A win-win-win!

The Charlevoix Guide will contain a minimum of 64 pages of feature stories, visitor information, community details, Chamber member listings and advertising. Its design, content, and distribution will make it easy to notice, convenient to pick up, and hard to put down. Moreover, its impact will be felt far beyond the region.

Distribution for 2024 will reach area businesses, residents and visitors, and through strategic distribution avenues including:

» Pure Michigan — 20,000 direct mail to all Charlevoix area inquiries received though the Pure Michigan marketing efforts

» Michigan Welcome Centers and Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) — 12,000 available at Welcome Centers and other MDOT locations throughout the state plus strategic AAA offices and Ohio rest areas

» West Michigan Tourist Association — Mailed to all Charlevoix-related inquiries and available at the Grand Rapids office

» Direct Mail — Strategic direct mail campaign to website readers, telephone inquiries and past lodging guests

» Regional Distribution — Over 15,000 distributed to businesses, hotels, restaurants, and more
