COVID-19

For Businesses

This is an unprecedented time, and the Charlevoix Area Chamber of Commerce is continually seeking information on the new tools and resources being made available to help business owners and employees.

First, we urge the following additional measures to mitigate risk while continuing your services:

-Wipe down & sanitize counters, registers, handles, keyboards, mouses, and other heavily-touched areas daily
-Greet with smiles, AVOID HANDSHAKES
-Switch to disposable or single-use containers where necessary
-Enable work-from-home abilities, prioritize telework, and switch to conference calls rather than meetings
-Make a business continuity plan (be prepared to change practices if needed due to employee absenteeism or changes in operation)
