Regional Chamber Alliance
Established in 2004 as a three-chamber partnership, the Northern Michigan Regional Chamber Alliance has grown to become a coalition of six regional chambers of commerce spanning northern Lower Michigan. The alliance now represents around 5,500 chamber members and its boundaries touch the districts of ten state legislators. The Alliance was established based on the premise that many legislative issues impact Michigan’s northern lower peninsula in similar ways. These issues should be addressed regionally to maximize the political influence. Because businesses in the region share many of the same challenges and opportunities, the alliance was formed as a way to maximize our political influence at the state and federal levels. Together we bring a strong voice for northern Michigan businesses.

Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce
Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce
Cadillac Area Chamber of Commerce
Benzie County Chamber of Commerce
Alpena Area Chamber of Commerce
When deemed appropriate and in support of Chamber Alliance positions and recommendations, member advocacy and grassroots activities will be developed and promoted using this legislative agenda as a basis for taking position on legislative policy.
